Since 2001 I have been working hard to excel at the craft of shearing sheep. In 2008 I decided to go into sheep shearing as a full time job and I have never looked back.  I bring 20 years of on the job experience handling sheep, skirting fleeces, sharing ideas and connecting with shepherds all over the mid-Atlantic region and around the world.

I smell their wooly stink all day
And I hear them in my sleep;
Oh, I never knew what misery was,
Till I started herding sheep.

Its nice enough to tell the kids.
Of the big old horny ram,
The gentle soft-eyed mother ewe,
And the wooly little lamb.

It’s nice to have your mutton chops,
And your woolen cloths to wear,
But you never stop to give a thought
To the man that put them there.
